Less than 3 years after 5 kids lose their Mum to cancer, their Dad gets told his is incurable too.

A few days ago, I sat stunned as I read Stuart's Facebook status update - " I started chemotherapy and immunotherapy today to treat my cancer that has returned and that the Dr’s don’t believe they can get rid of this time." While the doctors haven't given a close timeframe for this news right not, it will mean 6 doses of chemo over 18 weeks and immunotherapy every 3 weeks for 2 years. Stuart has been facing this with radiation and surgery since July 2022 - Merely 23 months after his wife passed away.
A journey like this is hard, but it's immensely harder when you are a solo Dad, supporting your 5 kids through life within the shadow of losing their Mum to cancer less than 3 years ago. In 2020, Claudine - A woman with a passion to make this world better - lost her fight for life with inflammatory breast cancer.
It's up to us to support this amazing Dad to give his kids the best time with him from here on in. What he spends this on will be left up to him, whether that's experiences with the kids, making the day to day living expenses slightly more bearable, supportive treatments alongside the oncology treatments, or whatever else he is needing.
Stuart's late wife, Claudine, was a very good friend of mine.

Clarification 13 February 2024
I just wanted to clarify my comment regarding "last option" in the last message. This means that the options from here are likely to be clinical trials of some sort (Thanks for helping making that clear Stuart)
