Across Aotearoa, thousands are stuck in emergency accommodation with no clear pathway out. Fix The Crisis NZ is taking action with The Tiny Home Project a practical solution that gives people warm, safe, healthy homes while also preparing New Zealand for the Government’s 2026 fast-track consent changes for tiny homes and minor dwellings.

Your support will help us do more than just build homes.

It will help us reach homeowners, landowners, community groups, and iwi with a strong awareness campaign showing how their spare land can immediately help someone in need. Funds raised will go toward marketing, digital outreach, educational workshops, and on the ground engagement that connects willing homeowners with people needing shelter.

With consent pathways expected to be streamlined in 2026, this is the perfect time to prepare New Zealand households for what’s coming. By promoting tiny homes as a legal, fast, cost effective option, we can unlock land that already exists and house people faster than traditional building systems allow.
