Help Rohan get to South Korea to represent NZ in the Men's Floorball World Cup Qualifiers.
Wellington
My husband Rohan Skilton started playing floorball around 2 years ago, he started out socially before progressing to playing in a league team and a regional Wellington team. During this time he has put in 110% going to as many training nights/weekends as possible and competing in regional opens in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch. He has a lot of passion for this sport and all his hard work has paid off this year when he was selected to represent our country in the NZ Men's floorball team who are going to South Korea in January to compete in the World Cup Qualifying Tournament. If they qualify they would then be going to the Czech Republic in December 2018 to compete against some of the best floorball teams in the world. Like most sports in NZ competing in International floorball tournaments heavily rely on fundraising and players using their own funds to participate. Whilst Rohan is working hard to save as much money as he can the costs for this are roughly $5000 per player for the for the uniforms, flights, accommodation, training camps, court time, manager and coach costs etc plus all of his household expenses as he is self employed. Any donations to assist him with these costs would be very appreciated and well deserved. He has worked so hard to get this far! Every dollar helps so thank you for reading his story and fingers crossed for NZ to be in the Floorball World Cup 2018!
