I am heading to the World Athletics Championships in London this year but to perform at my best I need to acclimatize and race before hand.
Auckland
Because the World Champs are during our winter the conditions and races needed to prepare for going fast do not exist currently in NZ. I intend to travel to London earlier to acclimatize so that I am in the best shape to progress through the rounds and better my New Zealand Records at the World Champs.
I have the opportunity to train with some of the fastest sprinters in the world, under a very highly regarded coach, allowing my competitive training and practice.
I did some work with them last year and what I brought home from that experience was priceless.
Following the World Champs, I will be heading through to Taipei to compete at the World University Games. This will add 3 weeks to my time overseas but will allow me the chance to represent New Zealand again where I aim to bring home medals.
The entire trip will be 12 weeks long.
I have a big task ahead of me but with your support I know I can do it. Any assistance offered would be greatly appreciated.
Please help me to chase my dream and show the world that Kiwis can fly!
The funds will be used for:
-Accommodation in London
-Food and Living
-Flights to competitions +overnight accommodation (4x)
-Coaching, Physio and Facility use
