Helping our community breathe a bit easier
Auckland
Focuses on empathy and "giving what you can."
Dear Team,
I’m Akanksha and as I raise my daughter, I see how much the world demands of women. My mission is mother empowerment and women in leadership but I’ve learned a hard truth: no woman can lead a business, a career or a family if her mental health is crumbling in silence.
You cannot pour from an empty cup. Our community is struggling. Behind closed doors, mothers and families are facing mental health challenges that hold them back from their full potential. That is why I am raising urgent funds for the Kirpalani Foundation. They are on the front lines, providing the mental health and wellbeing support that allows our families to find their feet and our women to lead again
I’m on a mission to raise as much as I can for them. I operate on a 100% transparent model: 50% goes straight to the Foundation, and 50% covers the advocacy and hard work needed to make this campaign a success at the Auckland Museum finale.
I’m not looking for a big corporate check..I’m looking for a hand. If your team could support with even a small donation or by joining us on the night, it would make a massive difference.
Are you open to helping me support this cause?
With gratitude,
Akanksha
50% of funds raised will be contributed to The Kirpalani Foundation (currently in the process of being registered as a charitable trust in New Zealand).
The remaining 50% will be used to support costs directly related to my participation in Mrs. New Zealand 2026. This includes competition entry fees, wardrobe, styling, coaching & training, travel, accommodation, photoshoots, media content, and registration-related or administrative costs not covered under entry fees.
