Rebuilding what was damaged through the violence that took Eru from us.
Te Puke, Bay Of Plenty
On behalf of our whānau, I am creating this page to help us rebuild the damage and destruction that has affected my sons and our family leading up to, and on the day, my son Eru’s life was taken.
There were significant damages done to vehicles and property, not just on that day, but in previous altercations where my boys were left without the support, protection, or help they should have received. There are also repairs needed at my son’s home, where violence and chaos have left deep physical and emotional scars.
This Givealittle will go directly towards:
• Repairing vehicles damaged from previous ongoing incidents (including broken windows, dented panels, and other related damage)
• Fixing the damage done to Eru’s home (completing essential repairs to walls and windows, and repainting to restore safety and security for the whānau)
• Supporting our family through travel, court hearings and the long grieving process
• Helping my sons regain some stability after everything they have endured (covering living costs and time off work to support whānau recovery and ensure stability after trauma)
There were no insurance policies in place at the time.
As a mother, I’m doing everything I can to stand strong for Eru and for my boys. Our family has been through a trauma that no whanau should ever have to face, and any support, big or small means more than we can ever express.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us rebuild what was broken, stand for our boy, and keep moving forward in his honour.
Justice for Eru.
The funds will be used for vehicle repairs, to address damage to my son’s home from previous incidents, and for travel to hearings and essential costs to support our whānau as we navigate the ongoing impact of losing Eru.
Thank you for the love and support 🤍 28 January 2026
To everyone who has donated, sent messages, or held our whānau in their thoughts, thank you from the bottom of my heart 🤍
The kindness, aroha, and support we have received has carried us through some incredibly heavy days. Every donation and message reminds us that we are not walking this journey alone, and that means more than I can ever properly put into words.
This has been an ongoing and painful road for our family, and your support helps us keep going during a time where grief, pressure, and uncertainty sit alongside one another. Please know that none of this is taken for granted. We feel the love behind every act of kindness.
From our whānau to yours, thank you for standing with us, for honouring Eru, and for holding space with such compassion.
Arohanui always 🤍
