For Gillian, 23, Crohn's is deadly.

PLEASE HELP!

As a close friend of Gillians, I have seen how much she suffers from Crohn’s disease on a daily basis. At just 23 years old this is not the life she deserves. Gillian is so selfless and would never ask for help which is why i have taken it upon myself to start this page.

Over The past few years her condition has rapidly worsened forcing her to put a stop on her uni studies and work. Earlier this year Gillian underwent surgery to receive an ileostomy bag. As if this wasn’t enough she then suffered life threatening complications and had 30cm of her colon removed 3 weeks later. Her suffering is far from over and having spent most of the past year in hospital, there is just one treatment option left. This treatment called Stelara, not funded here in NZ. Costing 36k for the first year this is the current goal. Gillian is no where near able to work and without this treatment she won’t be able to.

Even funding just one years worth of treatment for Gillian could mean being able to finish her degree, being able to work and simply just live life as a 23 year old should!

This is a big number but I am so hopeful. If just 4,000 people donated just $10, Gillian wouldn’t have to live in pain physically and mentally 24/7! Every amount helps. ❤️
