For Rosie

  • Rosie's page is being closed

      14 June 2020

Rosie's mummy has decided that we will look after Rosie as best we can which means no more operations. There has been no real improvement in her condition so with the money raised by you kind donors we will put it towards buying food and any further check ups.

Thank you everyone for your support, from Rosie and her family.

  • I am closing Rosies page

      7 June 2020

Hi everyone i have decided to close Rosies page sooner rather than later.

We have decided to use the money that has been greatly received already to put toward Rosies meals. As she has had to have thinned meals it means we are having to spend more time with this. But we want to give her the best quality of life that she can have and not put her through any more surgery. The gift can buy her the meals that we can give her in between the homemade meals we do for her when we are late home from work. So thank you everyone for your gift (funds) and your kind words.

    From Rosie and her mum.

  • Updated

      31 May 2020

I have updated the amount as anything we can get for Rosie can go toward bills we have incurred with her vet appoints and surgeries. Which was as recent as this Friday which we were charged $61 to basically just talk and not really offer much else.

Rosie is doing better than she was a month ago but very thin. Winter does not help. But we are going to get her back to her old self as hard as we might.

Thanks every Hi paws from Rosie. Look out for her on Facebook.

  • The Rose

      26 May 2020

We have decided that Facebook is probably the way to go but we want to keep our privacy and if we could raise enough funds it will at least pay for Rosies surgeries up to now.

Thanks everyone for you support all the same.

  • Rosies daily costs

      23 May 2020

Rosie has to have food that we can easily blend. At the moment we are going through lots of towels and bedding daily as she struggles to swallow.

The funds will definitely help towards paying for these and on going vet visits. But we are still committed to helping out other causes with any excess funds. So we all benefit.

Thank you all from Rosie and her family xoxoxo

  • Had surgery number three

      23 May 2020

Sorry haven't updated but at the moment we are nursing Rosie after her surgery she had on Wednesday. She usually takes a few days to get over this. For her it's quite painfull as the esophagus is a very delicate organ.

We are needing to spend a bit more time with her so we are sorry for slacking off.

I do have a video to upload which i hope to do this weekend. Other thing is i do work in a hospital and at the moment as everyone knows we are busy keeping everyone safe.

I will endeavour to keep you updated and if we don't make the goal thats ok too. As there are alot of needy animals out there and people who need our help as well. So keep giving to the causes we all appreciate it and one day i hope to give back as well. I do however encourage people while i am at it to give to the Animal Refuge page that is running at the moment they need our attention as well. Cheers! Enjoy your weekend everyone. From Rosie and her family.

  • Rosie had surg...

      20 May 2020

Rosie had surgery again today number three to widen her esophagus again.

The specialist says that he widen it much wider today. But in doing so it causes it to tear. This is because the scared area is stretched.

Rosie is a brave wee girl and we are hoping that the furture for her will look brighter. Especially now we know there is help out there for her from all you generous people.

Here is some oxoxoxoxoxo from Rosie and her fam. I shall post some videoes on the weekend of the op. Rosie just a bit sleepy at the moment so we will see you soon.

  • for Rosie

      15 May 2020

Hi everyone Rosies mum and dad are overwhelmed by your kind donations for her.

She went to the vet last night and we are waiting for results on tests we are hoping won't mean shes got an infection.

Still no results but she is a good girl and just keeps going and brave.

We are adding videos Rosie( please excuse the producer, not!) at dinner time. Raising her up seems to work and we also elevate her sleeping. We had to look for ways to help her ourselves through hours of screen time on google. We hope this gives you all a window into her world at the moment. Thanks again everyone. Love and Blessings from us and our girl. Actually you guys own a bit of her now as well.

I shall update again in a day or so, to keep you guys in the no and know that we appreciate all your doing for her.xxx Julia
