For the benefit of our comunity of young people.

A couple of years ago after taking over full time care of my children I started to try and help my son Hoani 16 at the time get a job but every where we applied kept denying him due to his disabilities one finally did but after 3 months and many meetings I attended between my son and the factory’s management he ended up retiring due to the place not being a suitable match for him due to his disabilities after that we once again went around Oamaru to dairies supermarkets fast food places just to try get him something todo but no luck then after about 6 months of being at home not doing nothing I started to get yard work mowing lawns trimming hedges in and around Oamaru and passing along skills to him that he needed I then built a work page Boys Garden and Mowing Oamaru then in 2024 i registered as a sole trader as we started picking up a lot of work and wanted todo things properly then last year 2025 for Christmas I got us uniforms with the logo on we give work to other young people like Hoani that aren’t given a chance or are looked over for work because of life’s challenges I believe everyone is capable of a job you just have to find the right job for them doing yard work not only gives skills people need for life but also gives them the ability to follow in our footsteps and think about creating jobs for themselves as-well as other people all donations will be going towards updating work gears lawn mowers P.P.E gear ect we need to carry on working.
