Now it’s our turn to show up for the woman who has always shown up for others.
Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty
She has spent her life caring for her family, loving deeply, and making people feel seen, supported, and valued. Kerri-Anne has always had a way of making others feel better just by being there. She has the rare gift of making you laugh and cry at the same time, bringing warmth, humour, and light even when life feels heavy.
Kerrianne and her family are now facing an incredibly hard chapter. She has been acutely diagnosed with Stage 4 Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma, likely brought on by a double hit MYC mutation. This diagnosis is secondary to her more chronic Follicular Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, which she has quietly battled for several years.
Her treatment now requires her to be transferred to Waikato Hospital for intensive chemotherapy, away from her husband, whānau, and home in Tauranga. This brings an enormous emotional, physical, and practical load for her family as they juggle work, travel, and being by her side.
Kerrianne is a devoted wife, a much-loved mother to three young women, and her family is growing, with two precious grandbabies on the way.
She has always been the person who gives her time, care, heart, and energy without expecting anything in return. Now it is time for some of that love to be given back. Every bit of support will help ease the pressure and allow her family to focus on being together, making memories, and supporting Kerri-Anne through this journey.
