Thank you so much everyone for coming to the fundraiser tonight, it was so lovely! It really keeps my spirits up, which is pretty crucial.

Beautiful evening, thanks for being patient with my creative solution to a speech 😶

    And just enjoying each other.

And so lovely after my terrible recent sickness.

Looking forward to the next one 🥰

    Hello:)

I am doing a movie fundraiser at Lighthouse Theatre, they've been so amazing, lovely and accommodating. Their help has made fundraising accessable while I'm so unwell.

Thank you as always for all the beautiful support and love, it's raised my spirit up.

And please come along, it'll be an interesting movie! And we'll have homemade treats again for you, looking forward to relaxing in those plush armchairs in the theatre - I'll be lying down in them myself.

  • The Salt Path fundraiser screening

      11 May 2025

We had a lovely time and the lighthouse theatre Cuba, so good to see everyone and the movie was beautiful.

We raised another $650 which I'm really appreciative of, every step closer.

The larger amounts we just put directly into the fundraising account that give-a-little pays out to, so the total here doesn't match the real total of what we've raised-

We are at just over 30,000 now :) in which holds all my hope in the world

We had such a wonderful time at the Lighthouse Cuba theatre, it was amazing to have you all at my back. I think every person came up to me afterwards to tell me they cried-

Y'all sat through my terrible attempt at a speech. We had treats, it was beautiful :)

Oh and we raised just over 1,000 ⭐

My mum is so sweet- Mum and Lindsay have a stall at the Palmerston North market monthly, selling homemade bread and fresh milled flour from their mill. They keep my poster up for donations at their market stall

Thank you all for your kind words and generous donations, we are so grateful for every single one!

We are extending the fundraising end date and changing the goal so its in line with there being different surgery options.

Forest's stepmum put in an extraordinary effort both many beautiful scarves and also selling them for fundraising to her extensive network of friends and colleagues. With her and others' work we have gotten to 25 k. We thank Heather wholeheartedly and we are now looking to other fundraising efforts to get Forest to Spain.

We would like to thank everyone for their beautiful generosity 💝 we wouldn't be here without you

Thank you for all the awhi and support, it means so much!

We have recently been doing some markets in Wellington selling beautiful handmade soaps and handwoven scarves. Most recently we were able to get family from Hawkes Bay and Wellington to Palmerston North to all do a fundraising stall at a market together! We sold handmade soaps, handwoven scarves and donations of oranges, mandarins, earrings, bread rolls and honey!

Such a great day supporting Forest Aid together as a extended family.

  • Surgery options update

      5 September 2024

Thank you so much for all the awhi, support and donations, we are humbled and so grateful to everyone!

We've been looking into another surgeon with great renown, in Spain. His name is Dr Morata. He uses different surgical techniques to Professors Scholbach and Sandmann in Germany but seems to get really good results, with a less invasive technique. We are doing a lot of research comparing them and deciding which is the best route.
