Off to the States on the 1st of March to try out for the top US Formula 4 team. Please join me in getting there!
Auckland
I've had the dream to pursue racing and go to the top for as long as I can remember. But only at the age of 20 did I get into race cars. As of 2024, I haven't even completed a full season of racing yet but have already shown undeniable skill and talent by winning a championship in my rookie year and being faster than professional drivers on my first day driving different race cars.
Through this success, I've been offered an opportunity to try out with the top Formula 4 team in the United States. My goal is to impress them and secure a drive with them for the upcoming season this year. This is a huge step in my journey, who knows what doors could open up for a Kiwi boy over there?
The reality is motorsport is a massive investment. I have been working hard on my business and training every day to make this dream a reality. As this is such a huge next step, I'm looking for people to partner with me so I can get to the States and give it my best.
My greatest reason to keep going with this dream is because I love being with people and bringing love, joy, and hope to the people around me. And I believe the motorsport world is the primary domain in which I am to carry this out.
If you love motorsport, my story, and/or impacting people, please join me on this dream!
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me on my socials or flick me an email.
Thank you,
James
All money donated will go towards this trip. That includes travel and living costs for 8 days over there and the cost to drive these cars ($5,000 USD per day to test).
At the moment, we will be testing 3 times: the 4th and 5th of March at Thunderhill Raceway, and the 7th of March at Buttonwillow Raceway.
How did I do driving the F4 car? 20 March 2024
Hey all! Thought I should give an update on how I did in the States with the F4 testing 😊 Long story short I was fast and consistent. Almost 2 seconds quicker than other F4 drivers testing on the same day.
The weather was very cold (4-9 degrees) and the team was sure that the track would've been seconds slower because of the lack of grip. With this being the case, in warmer temperatures I would've been on or quicker than the lap record... I was stoked.
Now I'm looking forward to racing in Paul Weir's BMW this weekend. And starting to plan a F4 season in the States starting in less than 2 months time.
Amen! Let's go! Thank you brother
