Fox Glacier Community Centre

An exciting time for our community as we finally begin to build Stage 1 of our much needed community centre.

After 12 years of hard work planning, revising the building and fundraising for it, we are still short of funds to build the full centre. We are determined to build what we can and to continue to fund raise to complete the project. Our centre will give us a place for sporting, social and cultural events that currently are unavailable to us as Fox Glacier has no such indoor facility and enjoys 5 metres of rain a year!

Having a community centre will benefit not only the local residents of our small town but the thousands of tourists who flock to the glaciers region every year.

We have created this page in the hope that New Zealanders will get behind our cause and give us a little bit of help by donating whatever they can!
