Francis and I and our whole family would like to extend our gratitude for all the support we have received from you. Francis had no symptom whatsoever beforehand of the existence of the brain tumour, apart from the seizure on April 6. Surgery is over but he will be undergoing further treatments. That means he will be out of action for a while and will be relying on me and the kids for care and support.

We are truly humbled by your compassion and generosity. It means a lot to us and we will hold all your love deep in our hearts as we focus on his recovery. Thank you so much once again. We love you. ❤ Francis and Jing Gallego

“We are in this together”, assures Winston, Nanet and Jonel who flew all the way from Auckland to see Francis and Jing. For Francis, the presence of his close friends including those hidden from this photo is proof enough to believe that God never left him and will never leave him as he goes through this difficult times. He is in the middle of everything working for their good coz that’s what He does.

  • A big “thank you” from Jing

      21 April 2018

“We cannot thank you all enough for your prayers and kindness. Knowing that we are loved even by people we do not know gave us so much strength and hope at this time of sorrow. God’s mercy endures forever and I beg that the King of Mercy shower you all with blessings for what you have done to us.” - Kristinne Gallego

Francis is back home after surgery and two weeks in hospital. On 7th May he will start weekly chemotherapy and radiation treatments every day that will last six weeks in length in order to treat the remaining 35% of the tumour that cannot be surgically removed. It’s still a long journey to recovery but he is keeping positive and knows he can beat this! with God and his family and friends by his side.
