Francis passed away peacefully at Te Omanga Hospice on 19 December 2020.

Francis has been through such a hard time and so have we all. Had a fall this week, broken ribs, hospital as breathing so bad. Pneumonia, Cancer has spread, also blood infection sepsis, and kidneys as well . This is how it is. 2020 is year of no end. Wishing everyone all love ànd kindness to each other.
It is the life we to the full and little things that matter we just grateful for every moment.
After 5 hr surgery and three days in Intensive Care after obstruction bowel surgery. Francis came home on 17 October.
We are very grateful to the great medical team.
So now District Nurse every day , and two steps forward and three back. We are taking little steps.
After 5hrs of surgery, by excellent team of surgeons. Now home, exhausted, fatigue and pain. Taking little steps for recovery.
Wednesday last lot of Radiation Treatment, great. Then it all went horribly wrong. Francis feeling unwell, gradually got worse. Hospital were great, trying to get pain and blood pressure undercontrol.
Has to have surgery today for bowel obstruction. so awaiting game once more
Four lots of radiation treatment. Wearing the radiation mask is scary. The pain in my head doesn't go away.
Morphine, extra pain meds, it feels it will never end.
