Frankie desperately needs our help

Frankie & her human Sara were out hiking the Ketemaringi Trig Track in the Pureora Forest on Saturday morning (29 July) and unfortunately Frankie hasn't come out.

Frankie was running with her hiking pack and long line but got spooked and ran off but didnt come back. She is very well trained with a excellent recall so we think she has been tangled up somewhere. After searching for over 8hrs, and being very wet and cold Sara realised they were both in a fair bit of strife and set off her EPIRB Sara was located by SAR and walked out at 12.30am Sunday morning. Without Frankie.

The clock is ticking to find her and we are throwing all resources at this to get Frankie reunited with Sara.

If anyone is in the area please keep your eyes peeled. Messages can be left at the Timber Trail Lodge in the forest.

Sara and Frankie are much loved members of the Waikato Canine Obedience club and we just want to see them both back on the field together as soon as we can.
