Support Frankie and her family as they take on the biggest challenge of their lives, helping Frankie beat cancer!
Invercargill, Southland
The Price/Ryland family (Willy, Tayla and Frankie) were looking forward to returning home to NZ to be closer to family and friends. Sadly three days after their house settled in Perth, and just two weeks before they were due to fly home to Invercargill, wee Frankie, who has only just turned 1, was diagnosed with a child cancer, neuroblastoma, which has turned their world upside down.
Frankie needs months and months of treatment, and has already completed one cycle of chemo. She is a tough wee fighter and even after all the tests, blood transfusions, and medicines being pumped into her body, she still has a smile on her face and brings so much joy to her extended family.
Tayla and Willy are now left in the horrible position of being without a home or family support while Frankie completes her treatment in Perth. With time frames unknown and no social support for the family (as they are NZ'ers living in Australia), the Price/Ryland's need our help!
This page is designed for family and friends who want to offer practical help to them while they are so far away. Money raised will hopefully help alleviate some financial stress and go towards hugely expensive accommodation costs, food, medical and travel costs, so that Tayla, Willy can concentrate on wee Frankie and her treatment.
I am Tayla's aunty
Any money raised will go towards medical expenses, accommodation and other daily expenses & flights for the family while Frankie is going through ongoing treatment.
Funds will be paid to Frankie's Nana, Kim Ryland, given the family is in Australia.
Cycle 2 2 June 2023
Tayla, Willy and Frankie are overwhelmed at the support they’ve received and sincerely thank everyone for their generous donations.
Frankie has been having her second cycle of chemo this week and taking it on like a warrior! There are heaps of cool toys at the hospital and the Doctors and Nurses have been incredible 😊
