Fred the Tripod Cat needs a full amputation of his front leg.

Unfortunately Fred has injured his amputated stump and needs a complete amputation after 11 years as a 3.5 legged cat.

I rescued Fred the day he was born. He was abandoned by his mother and I hand raised him.

At 9 months old Fred was hit by a car. He had a brain bleed, shattered scapula, broken jaw and nerve damage that resulted in him needing an amputation of his front leg. Due to the damage in the other scapula it was advised a partial amputation was best. Fred has lived for 11 years with 3.5 legs happily but unfortunately now has injured the stump and needs a complete amputation.

I am financially struggling to meet his needs but have been assured by his vet that he will recover well.
