Friends In Need - Fundraising

  • Closing date ofr donations

      21 May 2020

    Hi all

We have closed our page to new donations with effect from tonight, as Friends In Need will wind down in Alert Level 2.

To date we have spent $18,165.25, of the $19,902.68 you have so generously donated (after deduction of the Givealittle service fee).

We are still receiving many, many requests for emergency deliveries of food and toiletries, so will continue to apply the remaining funds towards these requests.

We are connecting all families contacting us with other charities and food banks who can support them at this alert level until their employment resumes or they begin receiving WINZ assistance.

Thank you so much for making this initiative possible. Were will keep you updated with details of the households your donations have supported, and some sample messages of support form the recipient families, in the coming weeks.

    Nga mini
