We want to save Otimai for the next generation of Girl Guides!

$1,080 of $1,050 goal
Given by 20 generous donors in 16 days

We are raising funds for legal advice. Help find out if there is a way to save Otimai for the next generation of Girl Guides!

Auckland

Otimai - the first GirlGuiding Centre in New Zealand and home of GirlGuiding Auckland – is being sold. Tens of thousands of Girl Guides have stayed here during the last 89 years, and we want this legacy to continue for future generations.

Funds raised from this Give a Little page will be used for:

· Engaging a specialist charities lawyer for legal advice (up to $1,000)

· Cover the cost of Give a Little fees (5% @ $50)

· To do EVERYTHING we can to save Otimai!

Please help us by sharing this with anyone who might be able to help - every donation counts.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause. Long may Guiding be able to give to future generations, the same wonderful experiences and fun we had in our Guiding lives.
