From Flood to Fire. Everything gone.

Firstly, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who has contributed to this kaupapa. Your words of aroha, your kindness, and your pūtea have been received with deep gratitude. In a time that has been incredibly challenging, your support has wrapped around this whānau like a korowai of care and compassion.

Cherise and her whānau have now settled into their new community. While the journey has not been easy, your generosity has helped ease that transition in meaningful ways. Because of you, they are beginning to rebuild, to find their feet again, and to slowly turn their house into a home. Each koha, no matter the size, has played a part in restoring comfort, dignity, and hope.

Beyond the practical support, it is the whakaaro behind your giving that has truly uplifted them — knowing they are not alone, that people care, and that aroha continues to flow even in the toughest of times. That sense of connection and collective strength means more than words can express.
