From Injury to Multisport World Championships

As a member of Triathlon New Zealand, I have been selected to represent New Zealand as an Age Group athlete at the 2024 World Triathlon Multisport Championships in Townsville, Queensland, Australia being held on the 15th to 25th August.

On Sunday 25th August, I will participate in the Long Distance Aquabike - a 3km Ocean swim followed by a 114km cycle. As part of my preparation, I’ll be travelling to Townsville early to acclimatise and continue my training.

As an athlete, I am responsible for covering all costs associated with attending and competing in this event. Despite recent physical setbacks such as Achilles Tendonitis, a sprained ankle and current inflammation of my TFL, I remain committed to giving my best performance.

My journey reflects determination, resilience and the ability to overcome challenges. I invite you to join me on my journey by contributing to my fundraising campaign.
