From New Zealand to Mexico: My DTS Journey

Hi everyone,

I’ve made the decision to take part in a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With A Mission, with an outreach phase in Mexico.

My goal with my YWAM trip is to deepen my faith, and actively serve others in a way that challenges me. DTS is designed to do exactly that by combining focused teaching, personal growth, and practical outreach.

The outreach to Mexico will involve working alongside local communities, supporting churches, helping with practical needs, and building genuine relationships with people. I want to share Gods word and show people his love.

I’m choosing to invest in this because I want my faith to be something I live out, not just something I talk about. I expect this experience to stretch me in resilience, humility, and how I care for others and I believe it will shape how I live long after the six months ends.

The total cost for this journey is $17,000 NZD which covers training, accommodation, food, and outreach expenses. I’m actively working and saving towards this, but I won’t be able to cover it alone.
