From Taranaki to the World stage, Help Support Briar & Camron to make it to Northern Ireland for lawn bowls world junior indoors

Hi everyone! 👋 We’re Briar Atkinson and Camron Horo, two proud Taranaki lawn bowlers who have been selected by Bowls New Zealand to represent Aotearoa at the World Bowls Junior Indoor Championships in Northern Ireland this November.

This is a huge honour for both of us, competing internationally in singles and mixed pairs against the best young players from around the globe. It’s not just a dream come true, it’s a chance to proudly represent our region, our country, and our sport on the world stage. What makes it even more special is that New Zealand hasn’t sent representatives to this event for several years, due to funding barriers. So this is not only a personal achievement, it’s a big moment for our country and the sport we love.

Unfortunately, this incredible opportunity is mostly self-funded, which means we need your help to get there. Every donation, big or small, will go directly towards our flights, accommodation, and travel costs.
