Daltons Gym Charitable Trust feeds 50+ kids lunches every school day in Upper Hutts schools.
Wellington
Daltons Gym Charitable Trust has embarked on a project titled ‘Fuel the Need’
Through a meeting with the Primary school principals across ALL the Upper Hutt schools we have identified 50+ children who have no lunch on a regular basis. We are bridging that gap! The Community Fitness Centre is equipped with a chiller and a kitchen. We have entered into a working relationship with Petone Pak n Save and plan to provide 50+ lunches to the Upper Hutt schools.
We are hoping to secure vans to deliver and to increase our volunteer base for prep and delivery.
At the end of the day in order to have a healthy lifestyle you need to have fuel in the tank (food). We will Fuel the Need here in Upper Hutt.
Thanks
Manuel.
I am the Founder of Daltons Gym and facilitate the projects of the Trust Board. I am passionate about helping our kids, our future leaders and have identified this need to help them reach their full potential.
Launched in 2016, Fuel the Need is an initiative run by Daltons Gym Charitable Trust founder, Manuel Dalton, to fuel the needs of UH primary & intermediate children, one school lunch at a time!
100% of the funds raised pays for the food and packaging.
