F*$k Cancer! - Raising Funds to give Koro Dub the send off he will deserve
Bay of Plenty
Koro Dub (Wayne Kemp) was sadly diagnosed with stage 4 terminal Cholangiocarcinoma, otherwise known as Bile Duct Cancer in April this year.
He is only 38 years old and was given just 4 months to live.
Fortunately, he has fought past that prognosis and we hope to have him longer.
However, the Cancer is aggressive and has spread throughout his body which leaves us little choice but start looking at what we need to do to make arrangements for him for when the time comes as it is likely to be sooner than any of us want to think about.
Being raised by his late grandmother, he doesn't have the network of close family someone would usually fall back on in a time like this.
This is what has lead us here, looking for the help needed to do what is necessary for Koro.
Koro is a humble loving man who has had a rough life, but would give the shirt off his back to help someone else. He has always been there for everyone and still continues to do so, despite his own health.
Koro will be accessing his KiwiSaver and will be contributing $2000 (the majority) towards these costs.
We are expecting his funeral and arrangements to cost in the vicinity of $10,000
Any help would be greatly appreciated by Koro and the group of people working together to make sure he gets the send off he deserves.
