    Hello Again!!

It’s the last two weeks of The Actors Program! And I’m saying thank you again for your endless support. This year has been a whirlwind, with so much growth that couldn’t have been made possible without you. In depth training covering all aspects of the acting world, and I’m proud to have something to show for it.

If you’re in Auckland and can see the show I’d love to have some loving faces there. A show to thank you for everything.

  • Term One Update & Continued Thanks!

    Hey!

I'm on my first term break of The Actors Program, prepping for the next and reflecting on everything I've learnt and what got me here. (You).

This term has been a HUGE one. To say that I've been challenged and changed is an understatement. I have broken down acting and personal walls I never knew existed, and learnt how much more of myself I have to explore. By week one, I knew that TAP would continue to exceed my expectations time and time again. And cemented that I am exactly where I am meant to be.

However, I could not be here without you. With your help I have already paid off half of my tutition and able to put my study as my main focus. I am able to persue a dream career that I never thought would be an option financially. I can not express my graitude to all of your help enough. But I will be working as hard as I can to make the most of it.

This term I have already worked with some of my dream tutors. My highlights being broken by Sara Wiseman, who taught me how to show up for myself, to push myself further as a human and showed me that there is always more of yourself to find. Le Ban by Michelle Hine, where I've found new versions of characters and myself. Voice work with Cherie Moore, Alexandra Whitman, and Jim Mclarty. Screen with Will Wallace and Angela Bloomfield. And so, so much more. I can't thank you enough for supporting me in making my dream my reality. I know that times are tough, and having your help has meant the world. Sending all my love, Kate xx

  • My thanks and an update!

      26 December 2023

    Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone is having a lovely holiday season, whatever way you celebrate it!

Here’s an update on my journey:

I have officially locked in my place to The Actors Program, with the help of all of your generous donations, shares and kind words. I am moving up to Auckland on the 27th of Jan (just over a month from now ah!), flat searching and getting started with my prep for study.

Here’s a little more information about the school:

TAP is an entirely practical acting school, with no written exams. It covered all bases (but I am mostly looking forward to diving deeper into my film study).

Its patrons are Sam Neil and Ian Mune. I’ll be learning from NZ’s best actors and tutors including:

    Antonia Prebbl

    Cameron Rhodes

    Eleanor Bishop

    Emmett Skilton

    Geoff Maynard Gilson

    Jacque Drew

    Jennifer Ward-Lealand

    Julia Croft

    Kate McGill

    Katrina George

    Matt Dwyer

    Micheal Hurst

    Mike Dwyer

    Miranda Harcourt

    Sara Wiseman

    Sylvia Rands

And so many more. This year is going to be an intense one, with the best training I can imagine and I couldn’t have made it without any of you. I am so so thankful for everyone that has helped me get this far, every contribution really helps. I understand this time of the year is already hard for many people, so I can’t express my appreciation for you all.

My givealittle doesn’t close until the end of Jan, so any new shares and help would mean the world 🫶
