Fundraise for Jai

Jai is my seven year old nephew. Some of you will know Jai's story, some may not. When Jai was ten months old he contracted herpes simplex encephalitis, this has left him with a significant brain injury and he has been fighting for his life ever since with debilitating seizures. These seizures have gotten so severe he stops breathing daily. His last hope is an epilepsy brain surgery called a corpus callosotomy, where surgeons will split his brain to stop the seizures signals having so much punch. After Jai's surgery it will be a long road to recovery in hospital and then in a rehab facility in Auckland away from their home in Papamoa. Jai's family needs your help, these funds will help cover the cost of the lost income of Jai's dad Mike who will be taking unpaid time off during this period of recovery to support not only Jai but Jai's brother and sister.
