Raising funds to support Georgia and family financially through the passing of her father, Kerry Hessell
Auckland
Yesterday, Tuesday 16th August, Kerry Hessell passed away unexpectedly. He was a kind, handsome and caring man, who was loved dearly by many.
Arrangements have been made for a service to honour him on Saturday 20th August at the Castecliff Club near his home in Whanganui.
Georgia has travelled down to Whanganui to organise his funeral. It is a very upsetting and stressful time for anyone when a loved one has passed, let alone a parent, and so unexpectedly.
It is so hard to know how to help when you see people you love in so much pain. By donating to this page you will directly be helping Georgia and her family by taking away the financial burden and associated stress and anxiety this will cause.
Funds received will go directly to reimburse Georgia and her family for:
- Funeral costs
- Associated travel costs
- Additional leave from work beyond the 3 day bereavement leave entitlement of a parent
Any surplus funds will be donated back to a charity that Kerry would have wanted to support. To be updated.
If you know Georgia personally you will know she is such a kind, caring, thoughtful and empathetic friend to many people. You may also know that she has had an exceptionally rough time over the past 9 months. Let's do what we can to help take the weight off her shoulders. Any donation made will be so graciously accepted and appreciated on her behalf. No donation is too small or insignificant.

Georgia is a dear friend of mine, as she is to many others.
Money raised will be used directly to cover funeral costs, travel expenses and additional bereavement leave. Any remaining funds will be donated to charity.
