Fundraiser to Support Baje Quinto's Family After His Sudden Passing
Auckland
Wednesday, 5th of May started as a normal day for the family of Manolito Bondoc Quinto Jr. He woke up early, did his morning routine and said goodbye to his wife and two young children before heading to work. Little did the family know that it will be the last time they will see him alive.
Manolito, known as Baje or Junior to his family, friends and work colleagues, died in a workplace incident that afternoon. Investigation by the police and Worksafe is still on-going as of the time I am writing this but it leaves the family emotionally and economically devastated by his sudden and tragic passing. Baje was the sole income generator for the family as his wife Jeremy (known to relatives and friends as Jem) focus is to look after their young children (a five year old and a five month old).
Baje was a very responsible father and husband who worked hard to provide for his family. It was a long journey for him before coming over here to New Zealand. After finally getting a modest job, he was able to bring his family from the Philippines here last year and reunite with them after years of sacrificing living apart from one another. Baje was also an active and faithful member of his church and in spite of his busy schedule, he still managed to find time to help friends in every little way he can, from fixing their car problems to assisting them in moving to new addresses. Relatives, friends, acquaintances, colleagues and his employer's customers/clients appreciate his positive attitude and willingness to help.
In behalf of his family, I am appealing to your kind hearts to help Baje’s family get through with this tragedy. Any help will come a long way.
Thank you so much for supporting a family in need..
I am close friend of Baje and we belong to the same church.
Funds received will help the family he left behind in their short to medium term needs like rent, food, utility bills and other day to day expenses.
Dear Anonymous Donor, In behalf of Jem and the kids, we want to thank you for the generous donation and kind words of comfort. This means a lot to them. God bless you and your family..
