Please help us cover our costs of holding a fundraising art sale for the benefit of Auckland Refugee Family Trust.

Auckland

Art for Change, who organised the fundraising exhibition for refugee resettlement 'Where Shall We Call Home', in 2017, are holding a fundraising Art Sale in November this year, to once again assist the Auckland Refugee Family Trust (www.arft.org.nz) with their important work of helping refugee families be reunited, by providing the finance for airfares. As ARFT say, "Being reunited with family members is the most pressing concern for refugees in New Zealand".

Artworks will be donated by many of the artists who contributed to last year's exhibition, as well as many more from various other sources. The art sale will be held at Mt Eden Village Centre, 449 Mt Eden Road on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th November.

ART FOR CHANGE's involvement (page creator)

We are an art group who raise funds for particular causes. We raised money for ARFT and NZ Red Cross in our exhibition at Depot Artspace in 2017, to assist with resettling refugees in Auckland

Use of funds

Any money raised here will go towards covering the cost of hiring the Mt Eden Village Centre, and to help pay for the cost of printing posters and flyers to advertise the art sale. Any surplus money raised will be added to the funds raised for ARFT.
