Fundraising for Future Problem Solving World Championships

I'm Heidi. I am a part of a team of four Year 9 students who have recently qualified for an International Future Problem Solving competition after placing first in the New Zealand Nationals. We will now be representing New Zealand overseas, competing against other countries to solve existing or emerging global issues. The International competition will be held at the University of Massachusetts outside of Boston, U.S.A. The competition starts on the 7th of June 2023 and lasts for 5 days.

At this event, we address international problems and find creative and futuristic solutions to solve them. Future Problem Solving (FPS) is an academic competition involving finding challenges, choosing the most urgent challenge and then creating an action plan to solve this issue.

My team and I are currently fundraising outside of Givealittle towards the cost of transport, accommodation, and registration to attend the FPS International competition. We are searching for donations and any amount would be greatly appreciated. We would be so grateful for any donation towards our fundraiser.

Due to the large sum of money that needs to be fundraised for the team, we have decided to each fundraise some money collectively and some individually. This Give-a-Little page is a fundraiser to support me with my individual fundraising efforts.
