I’d be grateful for your support in fundraising for the gear I need for the MAC hostel programme.
Westmere, Auckland
Hi. My name is Noah Burrows and I am a Y12 student at Western Springs College in Auckland.
I’ve recently been accepted for one of 30 places at the Te Kura o Tititea/Mount Aspiring College (MAC) hostel programme in Wanaka.
The year-long programme is focused on outdoor pursuits and getting students ready for independent living. It means a a lot to me that I’ll be able to participate, as it’s something that I have been wanting to do for a long time. A year in the MAC hostel programme will be an amazing experience that will prepare me for university and the rest of my life.
I am looking to fundraise $5,000 to pay for the equipment (kayaking, camping/tramping, snow sports, alpine trips) that I need to purchase before heading down south in 2024. I’ll be sourcing second hand where I can.
I’m happy to work for this money and can do babysitting, household and garden chores, anything that needs to be done! I have my restricted Drivers Licence and access to a car. Please contact me direct or via this pages Q&A's section at the bottom of the page if you’d like me to work for you.
