Canterbury

Our province, Batangas, Philippines, suffered massive ash falls and high intensity earthquakes due to Taal Volcano eruption last Saturday, January 11. Most of the towns within 17km radius have been heavily affected. My hometowns Rosario and San Jose are now serving evacuees in different evacuation centres ( School and town gyms, school rooms, basketball court, churches). There are still frequent earthquakes and volcano status is still unpredictable.

Evacuees need foods, medicines, bedding, toiletries, etc.

I am humbly asking for whatever amount you may give and all the amount will be sent to the Philippines.

I am Filipino immigrant in New Zealand and my home province in the Philippines is under state of calamity due to Taal Volcano eruption. My families’ hometown is not heavily affected but most of the schools and gyms are being used as evacuation centre.

Use of funds

Funds will be sent to the Camp Manager in the relief operation for volcano eruptions victims at Bayanan National High School
