Fundraising for water tanks to be installed in Namara Village, Tailevu, Fiji

Hello!
The Fiji Village Project is a student-organised humanitarian project, where a team of volunteering medical, nursing, dental and public health students go over to Fiji to help our Pacific neighbours.
This year, the team will be going to Namara Village, Tailevu to conduct basic health screening, assessing, educating about children's health and health awareness, dental screening and treatments by advanced dental students.
The reason for this Givealittle page is because the volunteers are fundraising for water tanks to be installed at Namara Village, so that they can have access to clean water. Each volunteer needs to raise $750, please help us! Any donation, big or small will be a huge help!

I am one of many volunteers on the Fiji Village Project who will be travelling to Namara Village in January 2023 to offer health screening, assessments, and education about child health and health awareness!

The money will be used to help purchase and install water tanks in Namara Village, as well as helping run the Fiji Village Project

Hello everyone,
Thank you so much for your ongoing support.
Unfortunately, the Fiji Village Project had to be canceled due to the current political situation I'm Fiji. Please read the details from the organizers attached. I am so grateful to everyone who supported this amazing cause, and am really sad that the team won't be able to install water tanks in Namara Village next year.
However, I am still going to Fiji next week to work in the Emergency Department of the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva for 6 weeks, as part of my Medical Elective. My original plan was to do the Fiji Village Project for 2 weeks then ED for 4 weeks but since the cancelation of the project, I have extended my time at the hospital.
Due to this change in plan, I would like to offer to return everyone's donation back to them, because the initial reason for starting this Givealittle was for the water tanks specifically. Please email me on wwan369@aucklanduni.ac.nz and I will organise the return of funds.
Alternatively, if you would like to leave your donation to support me on my Elective, you don't have to do anything.
Any donations that are left over at the end of my Elective will be donated to a local charity in Fiji to support the community.
