Carys and her talented off-the-track Thoroughbred, Nemesis (aka Patrick), from Hastings are heading to Adelaide to represent New Zealand at the Oceania Eventing Championships in April 2026 🇳🇿

Carys is currently ranked #6 Under 25 in the world!

Having produced Patrick herself in his second career as an eventer—after previously being a racehorse—this is an incredibly special milestone for Carys. It will also be her first time wearing the Silver Fern with the team, making it even more exciting.

Getting there is no small feat. It costs over $14,000 just for Patrick’s return flight from Auckland to Adelaide, not to mention all the additional expenses involved in competing internationally.

There may be the potential that this combo heads off to the UK after this event also.
