Helping pay for the funeral of Barry Millage - Our Dad, Grandpa, Great grandpa, Uncle, Brother and friend.
If you knew our Dad, Barry, he was a giver! Throughout his life, he gave his time, his resources and money even when he didn't have much himself to whoever asked. He loved people, and truly saw the good in everyone.
As many of you know he passed away suddenly from a heart event on 25 October 2024.
We were all understandably shocked, devastated and have struggled to process the massive gap he has left in our family.
Thank you to all those who were able to attend his celebration of life.
A few months before Dad passed away, he had been diagnosed with stage 2 dementia and had been struggling with all the things that go with that.
We found out way too late, that Dad didn't have any life insurance or funeral cover any more, he had forgotten to pay the premiums.
The costs for his funeral were unexpected because some funds were promised to cover the funeral, but sadly those funds have fallen through, so my brother and I have taken on the funeral bill ourselves to help ease the load for his widow, Pamm.
If you knew our Dad and can afford to put any amount towards the bill for his celebration of life, we would greatly appreciate it.
The money will go directly to the funeral home to pay for the funeral costs.
Thank you again 13 December 2024
