Billy can’t work after seizures revealed a brain growth—help support him, Jess, their toddler Roman, and twins on the way during this time.
Auckland
Right now, our friend Billy and his family are going through something no one ever expects.
Over the past few weeks, Billy has suffered a couple of seizures. The first left him with partial loss of movement in his leg. Then, while at the hospital supporting his partner Jess during a critical stage of her pregnancy with their twins, Billy had another seizure.
After urgent testing, doctors discovered a growth in his brain.
Everything has changed overnight.
Billy is currently unable to work, and in our industry there’s no safety net, no sick leave, no holiday pay. At the same time, Jess is preparing to welcome their twins in the coming weeks. Together, they’re already raising their beautiful two-year-old son, Roman.
This should be a time of excitement and new beginnings. Instead, it’s become a time of uncertainty, stress, and waiting for answers.
We’re raising funds to help ease that pressure.
Every dollar will go directly to Billy and his family, helping cover bills, daily expenses, and giving them a sense of stability while they navigate what comes next.
If you know Billy, you know the kind of man he is.
He’s the one who shows up. The one who helps without being asked. The one who gives his time, energy, and support to others whenever they need it.
Now it’s our turn to show up for him.
Let’s come together and support our brother, his partner Jess, and their young family during this incredibly challenging time.
Any contribution, big or small, makes a real difference.
Thank you.
A close friend.
