Funds to help with funeral costs for the family of Geotima Iro

George Geotima Iro Fokao Sefa our dearest Solomon Islands star, with an infectious smile, so much heart and a beautiful soul with so much potential - gone too soon.

Deborah Delite & Simon Iro Sefa and their family are heartbroken and devastated by the sudden loss of their son and brother. Our much-loved son, brother, nephew, grandchild & wantok Geotima passed suddenly on 19 July in Palmerston North, New Zealand. Geotima was just 19 years old at the time of his passing.

The family is in New Zealand while Simon completes PhD study. Losing their only son is so painful, and being away from the support of immediate family and wantoks makes this grief even harder to bear. The difficult situation is that Simon is the only one covered by the scholarship conditions while the family is not, making their situation a complex one. This means all funeral expenses will have to be met by Deborah & Simon themselves.

Therefore, this platform is created with the aim to help Deborah & Simon raise enough funds to support them to lay their beloved son to rest peacefully. Due to their unfortunate circumstances, his body will be laid to rest in New Zealand.

There is no gift too small, every love and kindness will help.
