Brain Cancer - funeral expenses

Iris Tomuri-Dinsdale is 58 years old and has been diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. Iris would like to organize and pay for her funeral so that her 65 year old husband isn't left with a debt.

Iris was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2019 and was given 5 years to live. She recieved chemotherapy & radiation but now the cancer has metastasized to her brain.

Iris has undergone brain surgery twice and has had 2 tumours removed. The second operation left her partially paralysed making it impossible for Iris to return to work. Unfortunately the tumours have grown back more aggressive and numerous than before and now there is nothing more the public health system can do for her.

Iris is a strong, independent woman who doesn't like to ask for help and the fact that she is about to burden her husband with a debt is troubling her greatly. She would like to organize her funeral before her rapidly declining cognitive function makes it impossible to do so.

Iris doesn't want anything fancy, the cheapest quote was $5500.
