Gena need's chemo
Raising funds for a mum of 5 to get through chemotherapy.
Christchurch, Canterbury
Gena is 35 and a biological mum to three, a step mum to two and a fur mum to three. She works as a social worker helping others and now needs a little help herself.
Gena was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma aka breast cancer in March 2022.
She has had two surgeries to remove her breasts and the next stage is chemotherapy.
This will mean time off work, as someone self employed there will be no sick or annual leave available. She also would like to support her body during chemotherapy with integrative medicine. That however comes at a cost. So she needs some help to not not stress about finances over the coming months.

Use of funds
Supplements and treatments such as intravenous vitamin c, health supplements, counselling. Also help with general household costs to keep on top of things.

I just want to say a massive thank you again to everyone who has donated to me and the family over the last six months.
I am so humbled by all your support.
I have some money aside still but have also been able to pay for extra tests that public system doesn't cover, pay for supplements to support my body and to recover from chemo.
I'm mostly fine these days I just have some long term medication to cost.
Although cancer sucks it has taught me a lot and I am healthier than ever before. From my family to yours thank you, bless you and have a wonderful Christmas
