GEOJ in Milan and New York

As many of you are aware, while in the midst of planning and preparing for New Zealand Fashion Week- I received some pretty incredible invitations to showcase overseas. I have been invited to Milan and New York to share with the world, some of my designs. This is an overwhelming opportunity and means that the whole world will be able to see my passion for what I do.

Some of you may remember, how quickly my NZFW experience came and went. It seemed as though I had just confirmed my place in the event, and the next day I was backstage watching it all unfold. I have decided to start fundraising now, because although these shows are in September of next year- I just know those months are going to go by so quickly! I have so much to do in order to prepare for these shows. I will be showing a 6-outfit collection, and I will be releasing my very first range of footwear at the same time! This is incredibly exciting stuff. All the big companies and editors from Vogue around the world, attend these events- looking for up and coming designers.

In order to go ahead with this opportunity to launch my career, and expand my growing international following I have to do the below:

Enlist the help of professional pattern makers
Purchase Fabrics
Cover manufacturing costs

Entry Fee 
Travel and Accomodation

I will be organising some events etc, in order to raise funds as well as working as many hours as possible in my retail job between now and then. Any advice, or funds donated are greatly appreciated. Without the support I’ve been offered none of this would be possible. I can’t thank you all enough.
