Help Aimee & Nate get to Germany to perform with the Hub tour team
Canterbury
My name is Aimee Ataera and I am a 21 year old nursing student at CPIT in Christchurch. My husband Nate and I are both dancers who are graduates of Excel School of Performing Arts in Auckland.
Nate and I are fortunate enough to have been offered places on the 2017 Hub tour team to Germany. The team includes vocalists, musicians, dancers, actors, and technical crew. Together we will be staging shows that will be performed in schools, theatres and churches across Germany.
The theme for this tour is focused on the refugee situation and the challenge it presents to us to reach out with compassion to those who have been forced from their homeland. This is the biggest refugee crisis since World War II, and through this tour we want to raise awareness of what's happening, and encourage people to continue to be generous and open in helping them.
Our concert is called "Far From Home", and we also want to encourage those who are far from their spiritual homes, and encourage them to return to their heavenly Father who is waiting for them with open arms. The timeless message of the gospel and the incredible gift of grace and forgiveness is truly life-changing to those that will accept it.
The tour team will also be promoting a new performing arts school, The Hub Akademie, which will be opening in Hamburg in 2018.
Your support in helping us to take part in this amazing overseas adventure is greatly appreciated!
