Gerry Linklater's Road to recovery

Whanganui, Manawatu-Wanganui

On the 26th of April Gerry was involved in an incident at Oceanview Speedway while racing his superstock.

He was flown to Wellington Hospital and put into an induced coma. The medical team caring for Gerry are happy with how his recovery is progressing but there is still a long road ahead for both Gerry and his family.

We would love to help take some of the financial burden away so Gerry and his family can focus on his recovery.

If you could please help Gerry and his family in any way, we would be extremely grateful.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
