Get Andrew to the 2025 World Swimming Championships
Auckland
Andrew has qualified to compete at the 2025 World Swimming Championships in Singapore, representing New Zealand on the international stage once again. Due to recent funding cuts at Swimming New Zealand, this year’s World Championships are only partially funded, with Andrew required to cover some of his own costs. We need to raise $5000 to support travel, accommodation, and team expenses.
After falling just short of Olympic Games selection last year, Andrew took a step back from competition to focus on his coaching career. He now coaches full-time while continuing to train himself to an elite level.
This World Championships marks an important return to international competition and is the first major step on the path toward defending his Commonwealth Games title in 2026, and targeting the 2028 Olympic Games, where 50m stroke events will be included for the first time.
If you’re able to contribute, your support will go directly toward helping Andrew compete at the highest level and continue pursuing his goals in the pool and beyond.
