Bailey representing New Zealand at an International Swim Meet, France.
Rotorua, Bay Of Plenty
Growing up on the spectrum and with an intellectual impairment, Bailey Conlon felt like he was living in a world that wasn’t quite made for him, a world where he didn’t belong. Then he found swimming, and with it, he found his place, his purpose, his tribe - he feels he belongs.
Now, with the support of Swimming NZ, Bailey is heading to Virtus Global Games. Virtus is the global organisation that governs, advocates, organises and promotes elite sport for athletes with an intellectual impairment.
Bailey is looking forward to pushing himself in the water and, most importantly, connecting with swimmers and other athletes from all around the globe who will be competing in a variety of sports. Your support will ensure that Bailey continues to follow his dreams of competing for his country.
I am Bailey's Mum and his biggest supporter.

Bailey still needs your HELP. 21 May 2023
Thank you to all the incredibly generous, amazing people, some known to us and some total strangers who have helped raise $3910. We still need $1090 to reach our target of $5000. Please SHARE Bailey's page far and wide so that we can reach our target. Thank you in advance. We truly do appreciate your encouragement and support.
