Help support Phill, Stacey and family.
Otago
Last Thursday Stacey and Phill were given some devastating news that no couple wants to hear.
Phill went to the Dr after discovering a lump on his left testicle, he was sent for a scan which revealed a tumour and things escalated quickly from there with urgent further testing, bloods and X-rays. This week Phill is going in for an operation to have his testicle removed. As you can imagine this is placing a lot of stress and worry on this family of 7, especially having to be out of their own home for the duration in a different town. Everything is a bit unknown at the moment depending on what is found during surgery, but we do know that Phill will be off work for a number of weeks with the possibility of lots of travel for appointments - none of which is covered by ACC.
All our love and support is going there way and Im sure anything you can offer at this time would be greatly appreciated by the Welsh family.
(Any surplus money will be donated to the Cancer Society)
I'm a good friend of the family. Stacey and Phill are always the first to put their hands up to help others in times of need, so this is a small gesture to help them through this scary and stressful time.
The money raised will be used for day to day living costs while Phill is unable to work, help with daycare/schooling costs for the children, travel and any costs incurred throughout the hospital procedures.
