Get Ez Back on the Wall!.
Wellington
Kia ora dear friends and whānau!
As many of you may know, Ezzy has had a pretty gnarly rock climbing injury during a competition recently. She ripped a bunch of important tissues off the inside of her hip socket. Most of them are not able to fix themselves, some of them out of reach of repair and her body is having to do the best it can with the rest.
There aren‘t really very many options treatmentwise, but one is called Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) which is essentially using her own blood to help her cartilage heal more. They take her blood, spin it super fast to concentrate the platelets (the healing part of blood), and then inject the concentrated liquid into her hip.
It’s a relatively new treatment for hip joint tears. It may not fix it entirely, but hopefully will improve it to get her back to a painless level.
In all transparency, it costs approx $2.5K which she/we do not have and while she feels pretty uncomfortable about asking for donations, we thought getting her a treatment she could be helped by, it’s worth reaching out to loved ones to see who can help.
There. Is. Absolutely. No. Pressure.
But…If you have an extra $5, $10, $50 bucks to spare, we’d be extremely grateful of your support. Even if we only get half of the goal of $2500, it’d make a significant difference and get her closer to clambering back up those walls (fingers crossed).
Arohanui and huge thanks in advance,
E and Lil <3
Any funds raised will be put towards treating, with PRP, Esme’s hip joint injury. If we raise too much, 😆 there are other possible treatments to consider for the future of this injury.
We appreciate your giving very much! Thank you! 🙏🏼
Thanks heaps VP’s! Yippee🎈
