Get Georgia to New York!!

Hi, my name is Georgia Aitken, I am a 17-year-old New Zealand performer and I have been given the opportunity to travel to America with the JTFNZ All Stars Performance Troupe where I have been selected to represent New Zealand in the Worldwide Junior Theatre Festival taking place in Atlanta, January 2024. This trip of a lifetime will allow me to work with and learn from Broadway Theatre industry professionals in a week-long mentorship workshop in New York City, to represent and perform in the Worldwide Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta. I am one of just 30 kids from across New Zealand who have been given this incredible opportunity and hopefully, this will be a major stepping stone for my future education and hopefully my career in Musical Theatre.

However, the Kiwi All-Stars trip costs around NZ$12,000 and needs to be funded fully by myself. Despite this being a considerable sum of money, I have already managed to pay for 3 /4 of the trip by working part-time and and saving hard. The reason why I have created a give-a-little page is that I am in need of donations for the final push to get to the end. I work a part-time job every Sunday in retail and have been taking up extra hours in between my final school exams, while also working as a party entertainer for children's birthdays, babysitting and pet minding.

So any donations would be greatly appreciated and every last cent will go directly towards this trip!
