Help us make a dream come true for NZ's top Strength & Conditioning Coach

Waikato

Hi everyone,

My name is Em and I am Leigh's partner. He will kill me for doing this, but he is too humble and stubborn to ask for help. Over the last 3 years I have watched him help hundreds of people achieve their sporting and exercise goals, taking people to the next level as one of NZ's top Strength and Conditioning coaches. Working weekends, 5am starts every morning as well as late nights, he has had no time for himself. Sport has always been his life, his outlet, his passion and his peace since he was a young boy mastering martial arts with his Father. He is an incredibly talented coach and athlete with years of NZ Rugby participation, but has always turned down overseas opportunities to make a career due to not wanting to leave his babies behind. This was always his dream, and he has accepted that it will never come true. Now, he has a new opportunity to be part of the NZ Bobsled team heading to the European Cup 2021 and Winter Olympics in 2022. I want to get him there. I sit here with tears in my eyes thinking of all that we have overcome in the last 3 years I just want him to have something for himself. As a Yoga Teacher, healer, mental health advocate and educator myself, my goal is to help others to live their potential, to feel and be their best. To live a long and happy life that you can look back on a say YES, I did that. To have stories of adventure, of conquering fear and breaking generational trauma. To be grey and old and have no regrets knowing that you took every opportunity and ran with it. I know when the girls grow up they will be so mad if he doesn't go for this. Leigh has done so much deep inner work over the last year, to become a better man, partner, Father and trainer. He has the biggest heart underneath the muscly exterior and he deserves this is so so much. Let's get these boys to their training and second tier international racing in January 2021 and see them through qualification for the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022. Thank you for reading and supporting.
